You can download the playbook page for Water Based Varnish

Product Description:

Water-based, transparent top coat that is designed to protect your projects. The Glossy Varnish provides a shiny, reflective finish, while the Matte Varnish offers a non-reflective, subdued appearance, maintaining the natural look of the project. Both dry clear and are suitable for a wide range of surfaces.

When to Use:

  • Glossy Varnish: Ideal when you want to add a polished sheen to your projects, such as decoupage, paintings, or decorative items that benefit from a glossy finish.
  • Matte Varnish: Perfect for achieving a natural or vintage look, especially on surfaces when a non-shiny finish is wanted, like rustic or vintage.

How to Use:

  1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
  2. Using a soft, synthetic brush, apply a thin, even layer of the varnish, following the direction of the surface's texture.
  3. Allow the first coat to dry completely, typically within an hour, depending on environmental conditions.

Pro-Tip:

  • For better durability apply a second coat after the first has dried thoroughly.
